Last Saturday morning, we went as a family to a local State park where they had a FREE program going on called Outdoors Unlimited. It is a Christian-based organization that gives kids a chance to aim at targets with a gun, a bow & arrow, a hatchet, and a slingshot. They also had fishing, turkey calling, and a free lunch. It was a fun family event, despite the horrendous heat, and the chigger bites we came home with! I think Coyote enjoyed this event the most out of all of us but, surprisingly, Road Runner really enjoyed shooting the guns (as long as she had her earplugs in during the shooting)!
